In February 2015, the White House Summit to Counter Violent Extremism took place in in Washington D.C. Omar Ramadan, former director of RadarAdvies and head of the European Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN), attended as well. “A great honor of course to be invited by the White House, but even more important to spread our messsage of prevention,“ says Omar. ”I noticed that in the US too there is a growing attention among professionals as well as officials for prevention instead of repression.”
