International peer review social entrepreneurship

News - 04 March 2018

The Peer Review on Social Entrepreneurship to tackle unmet social challenges in Oslo in december 2017 provided many ideas and recommendations for the success of social entrepreneurship. We organized this peer review together with consultancy bureau ICF and commissioned by the European Commission.

For the success of social entrepreneurship, a facilitating and stimulating role of municipalities in particular is essential. The peer review shows, among other things, that it is necessary to increase the public’s awareness of social entrepreneurship, to improve cooperation between social enterprises to promote innovative solutions and that access to long-term financing is necessary to meet the social goal. Read all the recommendations in the Peer Review. For questions or more information, please contact Bert Otten.
