In September 2015, Omar Ramadan (former director RadarEurope) was a guest at the United Nations in New York. US President Obama organised a meeting on the fight against Islamic State (IS) and on the prevention of radicalisation.

The meeting took place during the General Assembly of the UN. President Obama invited Heads of State and Government Officials from the countries that joined the coalition against IS. Intention of the meeting was to look into measures other than a military campaign.
