We supported the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment in Bulgaria to strengthen its chain approach and to develop and implement a preventive fraud approach. This project formed an important step in the Bulgarian pre-accession programme. An adequate labour market policy was developed, as well as an approach to prevent fraud at local level. The instruments and methods developed in this project, have been implemented at national level in a later stadium.
