Things really had to change. This is why the Neighbourhood Team started a pilot in the Utrecht district of Overvecht in 2014. Various professional social workers started to provide general basic social care in the district. They changed from being specialised to general social workers, looking at all aspects of life. Much changed and structures swayed, but four years later can be said in total sincerity that it was all worth it.
